Oktoberfest 2009 weekend of 10 to 12 October, 5th. Consecutive Year, Joint Jorgovan invited to attend the 46th edition of the Oktoberfest (National Beer Festival) in Villa General Belgrano (Córdoba), organized by the municipality.
This year we were in the company of Joint Estate Asturias. We joined them, as well as companionship and calling for the transmission of traditional music, familiarity, and that there are members of both teams who are married to each other and others have brothers and nephews.
Saturday upon arrival, the heat was stifling in the parade and then the heat performance with us was the public, which welcomed us very much and wanted to have our memories with photographs pulling Jorgovan.
again Sunday march, with a lot of people on the street, but nice hot weather and the constant applause and photographs of the large audience at every step, expressing their joy together with the beautiful traditional music of different Sets competing countries, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Scotland, Spain, Russia, Italy, Syria, Greece, and NASA Lijepa Hrvatska - Our Bella Croatia, represented by Jorgovan.
During the three-day stay at the Villa, Jorgovan presentations on stage, was competing for tourists singing, music and dance inherited from our ancestors, cultural heritage which showed that where there is a Croatian glad the live music.
To do so, assist with reproductions of costumes from the island of Cres, Baranja and Vrlika, Baranja being the originals brought over 45 years, which allowed to publicize the diversity of costumes from all parts of Croatia that Jorgovan account. Meanwhile, the repertoire of songs and dances was huge, and our whole one of the few that did not repeat his performance. Public attention has been very rewarding consistently recognized with applause and praise.
On Monday, last day in Villa General Belgrano, a mixture of emotions we invaded: joy, feasting there on October 12th our 56th anniversary, but also sadness at leaving old friends and new acquaintances , with whom we hope to meet again.
